Description

Kier is the child of a family friend. We were over visiting them as they had just moved to the outskirts of Bordeaux. He has the wildest imagination of any kid I have ever known; I am a teacher so I have met a lot of children! He talks with with so much enthusiasm (and at such speed) about all of these thoughts and ideas that are constantly bouncing around in his head. To take this shot, I stood on the edge of the pool and shot overhead. Kier was in the middle of telling me how cool it is going to be when he grows up to become a superhero. For me this shot captures that wild imagination and innocence through which children see the world.
