Nikon D850, 60mm Lens and one Bowens Gemini GM500R
My image was captured using a Nikon D850 using a 60mm lens f5.6 1/160. I was tasked by our Communications Department to capture our healthcare professions donning PPE and caring for the sickest patients on ITU. But what I really wanted to capture were the faces of these individuals coming off the unit after their traumatic shift. I set up a small white roll of white paper and one Bowens Gemini GM500R light with a softbox set directly above the camera this setup was in the stairwell near the doffing area. As the healthcare professionals had doffed their PPE and walked down the stairwell I was ready to capture them. This Clinical Nurse Specialist was one of my favorites due to the imprint of the mask on her face and the sadness in her eyes. This is the stark reality of what our healthcare professionals are dealing with no sign of abating.
