In my garden (in St Nicholas at Wade) in Kent, England.
Sony RX10iii (bridge camera)
I was photographing a Nigella flower in my back garden this summer one evening when my son walked through my shot - by some coincidence the t shirt he was wearing was off the same hue as the flower and it gave the same effect as blurred flowers of the same colour behind it. For such a tiny flower it has real sculptural quality, and the sepals surround the flower like a protective cradle. I used my Sony RX10iii bridge camera on full zoom at f5 1/160 which meant that most of the flower was sharp. I live in St Nicholas at Wade, a village in Kent, UK.
