It wasn't great weather for hill walkers since clouds covered the mountain peaks. Still we ascended Blencathra via Hall's Fell Ridge. When we were descending to Threlkeld to return our car, suddenly sun rays broke through the clouds in the valleys and mountains. I took my camera out and started taking pictures in various compositions. With this particular image, I took 3 horizontal images so that I can cover whole of the sun rays and later merged them in Lightroom to create in panorama format and processed in Photoshop. It was overwhelming feeling that it made our day in spite of gloomy weather.
