Sometimes you see a sight that is simply spectacular, on my way to Deadvlei in the Namib desert, I drove past this dune and as I did the wind was picking up, I noticed that sand was being blown from the crest of the dune. I turned back and using a 400mm lens I managed to isolate the curve of the dunes crest and it met the floor of the desert. One side of the dune was in shadow, the other lit by the low sun. It was a surreal image that I saw through the lens as if the dune had a life of it's own. 1/500th Second, f6.3, 100 ISO
