One November morning along a very quiet back-lane, with which I was already familiar, in the Peak District National Park. There had been an inversion but I knew if I could time it right the rising sun would eventually climb above the low-lying fog and magic could happen by back-lighting these autumn trees in spectacular fashion; I was right and I had the most incredible 40 minutes, alone, taking photographs of all I could see and feel.. I'm proud to say that the outright copyright of another image (slightly different angle) taken just a minute or so earlier was purchased by VisitBritain to add to their library of photographs used to market the UK across the world.
