Description

I was commissioned by Designer Michael Halpern to shoot his latest collection as worn by amazing Key workers he had met during his time volunteering for the NHS during the pandemic in London. This image is of Ghalia, an OBGYN who worked looking after pregnant women during this most difficult of times. I wanted simply to capture light and joy, hope away from the bleak reality that is drowning us. Lighting was fairly simply, 2 Arri 2.5 and one Briese 2.5 that was used to just create a fresh clean and lightness to the image. Set design was painted by Shona Heath that morning directly onto the cove.
