Sakrisøy is a small scenic island & fishing village and the roads onto the island takes up all the causeway in places. I had seen many images of the village before going but could not recall one of this house; perhaps because it appeared to be new. To get the image I wanted – head on with the mountain in the background – meant standing on the side of the road in one of these places causing the occasional hold up, whilst waiting for the incoming storm to break and the snow to start. I survived and the image, with its slightly off-centre composition to line up roof and mountain peaks, seems to work.
