Description

I was shooting stills on a TV commercial on a beach in New Zealand and had a certain brief to fulfil that gave me many opportunities to shoot freely. The four cowboys shot in this portrait were waiting to be called on set and were resting their horses. These men, and their horses, were the most skilled riders I have witnessed and stayed in character off set as I shot this portrait. Stunning flat light with a sea mist added to the beauty and strength of this shot.
