Coopers Hill World Famous Cheese Rolling Event
Nikon D5
The World Famous Coopers Hill Cheese Rolling Event takes place every May Bank Holiday Weekend where people throw themselves down a near vertical hill chasing a block of cheese. This year there were broken limbs and sprained ankles. Although I have photographs of the aftermath and people upside down, I wanted people to use their imagination as to what is coming next... Camera equipment used was a Nikon D5 with a 300-500mm Nikon Lens, Exposure: 1/1000 F5.6 ISO640 on Manual setting. The race down the hill takes about 30 seconds so you have to be quick off the mark to capture the images you need. It's incredibly difficult to get the cheese in the photograph too, but I have it in this one! Bonkers the lot of them!
