Description

An unfortunate encounter, especially as it was on a stretch of road with "otters crossing" warning signs. The animal was long dead but there is beauty in it still, scarlet blood framing the otters impressive dentition. A background with the converging lines of phone cables, road markings and the passing truck adding another layer of interest, even the ominous clouds seem to obey the symmetry of the scene. f10, 17mm, 1/200 sec, ISO 200.
