Now I know not everyone is a fan of spiders, but maybe this absolutely stunning juvenile female Crab Spider (Thomisus onustus) can sway opinions just a little. I mean it is pink! Finding this beauty was a major moment for me. I actually travelled to Dorset and spent over 16 hours across two days trying to find it! Had to remain positive while searching hundreds of flowers with no guarantee that I'd even see one. But when I did stumble across this tiny individual I was like a kid on Christmas! Genuinely over the moon. And although she is only small (about 5mm across), you can see that it didn't stop her from standing her ground and giving that signature crab spider defensive pose! This moment will stay with me for the rest of my life and will always be one of the happiest I've been while out with my camera.
