Description

In the first minute of my first night dive in January, I bumped into a squid couple, who then tried a disorienting display of bioluminescence, before jetting off in a cloud of ink. I was quick enough in my camera draw to capture their stunning lights. There are aliens right here on earth. 1/200 sec at f/11, ISO 320.
