Porthcawl, Wales
Nikon 7200 and kit lens 18-105mm
During a trip to Wales, I couldn't resist a stop off at Porthcawl lighthouse during storm Brian. The ferocious energy from the sea was really something amazing to witness here and I am so glad we made the effort to get down there even if my shoot didn't last long. With the waves coming over the wall and giving the cars driving by a thorough soaking, I knew I couldn't stay dry for long. I only managed 15 shots before it was game over! I shot this handheld with the quickest shutter speed I could. The action was very quick indeed! Taken on my Nikon 7200 and kit lens 18-105mm. Settings used: ISO100 f7.1 1/250 second.
