A Combat Medical Technician discusses treatment with local Kenyan patients on Exercise ASKARI SERPENT 18. Exercise ASKARI SERPENT 18 (Ex AS18) is a six-week British Army exercise involving 2nd Medical Regiment, Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC). The aim of this exercise is to provide medical and dental health outreach clinics to Kenyan civilians in support of local health authorities in 15 separate locations across three regions, Isiolo, Laikipia and Samburu. I took this image while in Kenya, documenting Army medical personnel providing treatment at outreach clinics in Kenya. I feel this image really show the hard work and pride these individual have when they are making a real difference to the local community.
